 Triptychs are such a great way to display the depth and aura of weightlessness so inherent in Washi.                                                                                                                                            When I paint my pieces, I always look to have the Washi gracefully flow over the edge of the canvas in a continuation of the main work.

 I mix my colors using a centuries old color mixing technique originated by the ancient Japanese Monks to portray the "Blush" on their highly venerated Cherry Blossom.

The entire work is covered in Japanese Handmade Washi Paper, and entire piece is coated with clear acrylic to protect from harmful UVs.
