Cherry Blossom Washi Heirloom Rugs                                                                                     All of my art is available in custom heirloom rugs.

I was asked by a Sushi Restaurant in Chicago for my vision of 'Ikebana'.                                      This offering, is one of my favorites, reflecting the Cherry blossoms themselves.
Japanese handmade Washi papers are gossamer thin and delicately painted with acrylics to create a visually weightless image.                                                                                                     My colors are mixed using a technique originated by ancient Monks to portray the 'blush' of their venerated Cherry Blossoms.
